• On the first day of your tailor-made holiday, you will meet & greet by the Ceylon Expeditions Tour Manager and your private chauffeur guide at the CIP Lounge of Colombo International Airport (CIP is a paid VIP / CIP arrival lounge at Colombo Airport)  
• Transfer to Walawwa (30 Min from Airport) or Tharu villas Lake / Tintagel hotel Colombo (1 Hr drive) 
• Check-in / Relax and unwind after the long flight
• No activities scheduled for today
• Overnight stay in Colombo 

• Sightseeing city tour in Colombo (2 Hrs). You will explore the historical monuments / British & Dutch remains/venerated Buddhist / Hindu Temples located within the busy Colombo city. 
• Visit The National Museum in Colombo. Worth watching Gangarama Buddhist Temple 
• Recommend enjoying Ministry of Crabs restaurant or any other veg & non-veg restaurants in Colombo. 
• Overnight stay in Colombo 

• After breakfast, you will transfer to Jaffna on a domestic flight (Scheduled or charter) (1 Hr)
• Check-in to Jaffna Hotel 
• Your guide also will be travel with you on the same flight and the vehicle will be driven to Jaffna by another driver with your luggage and other stuff. (Note you need to release your luggage 5 Hrs prior to flight) 
• Explore Jaffna 
• Overnight stay in Jaffna

• Explore Jaffna attractions (Visit Naga vihara International Buddhist center / Nallur Kandaswami Hindu Temple and other important monuments) 
• Overnight stay in Jaffna

• Check-out from Jaffna hotel after breakfast and leave for Anuradhapura (4 Hrs) 
• Evening nature walks around the hotel premises with your private guide
• Overnight stay in Anuradhapura

• Explore the sacred city of Anuradhapura (UNESCO World Heritage) 
• Explore Buddhist monuments in Anuradhapura (Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, Archeological Museum, Ruwan Weli Stupa. Etc.)
• Visit Mihinthale temple
• Overnight stay in Anuradhapura 

• Checkout after leisure breakfast and transfer to Habarana (2 Hrs.)
• Visit Dambulla cave temple (UNESCO World Heritage)
• Afternoon safari to Minneriya National park / Kaudulla national park
• Overnight stay in Sigiriya / Habarana

• Leave for Polonnaruwa after breakfast by 7.30 AM (1 Hr)
• Cycle tour in Polonnaruwa ancient city. We will be cycling through the archeological site in Polonnaruwa.  
• Study on freshwater fish species in a tropical country with a boat ride in Parakrama Samudraya in Polonnaruwa. This is a technical excursion in which you can have a real experience in traditional methods of fishing will also be demonstrated during this tour. (2 Hrs). 
• Bird Island Tour Parakrama Samudraya Polonnaruwa - 45 minutes boat ride to reach this scenic island which is the habitat for a number of bird species.
• Ancient Irrigation management Study focusing on the evolution of water diversion methodologies of ancient Sri Lanka. 
• Tortoise Study Tour in Polonnaruwa - In Polonnaruwa, you can observe Star tortoises, Sri Lanka Black Terrapins, Sri Lanka soft shell terrapins, Red Eared Slider. The feeding and sun-basking behaviors of these four species under natural conditions can be observed during the tortoise tour. 

• Hot air balloon ride at 6.30 AM. This activity is only possible from Oct-March each year. 
• Village tour Habarana 
• Transfer to Kandy 
• Overnight stay in Kandy 

• Visit the Elephant orphanage (1. Hrs journey)  (Need to reach there by 9 AM) to witness the bottle feeding. 
• Royal Botanic Gardens Kandy
• Sightseen Kandy city tour
• Back to hotel and you are in leisure
• Evening visits the sacred tooth relic temple 
• Enjoy a cultural show in Kandy 
• Overnight stay in Kandy 

• Check- out from Kandy hotel and leave for Hatton on train (Seats are to be reserved 30 days prior to travel). This is one of the most scenic train journeys in Sri Lanka which travel through lush green tea estates and exciting adventure during your bespoke holidays in Sri Lanka.
