Botanical gardens in Sri Lanka have collections of Sri Lanka native and endemic species of flora & fauna. Amonng all botanical gardens in Sri Lanka, Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradinaya is  most visited garden with 4,200 labled species of flora and thousands of people visit daily.  There are botanical gardens and arboreta in all states and territories of Sri Lanka, most are administered by Department of Botanical Gardens Sri Lanka together with local authorities.
